Join the Planned Giving Council of Greater Philadelphia on Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25 for a two-day interactive Planned Giving Course.
This course is designed for new and emerging planned giving professionals, development officers who want to add planned giving conversations into their interactions with donors, and wealth advisors and financial professionals who seek to increase their understanding of charitable planning strategies.
Why take the Planned Giving Course? You will master the basics of planned giving and increase your comfort level with the various tools and techniques you’ll need to successfully secure planned gifts. In addition, you will learn from seasoned professionals about:
- Relevant tax and estate planning laws
- Planned Giving program management and best practices
- Marketing Planned Giving and donor engagement
- Real life donor scenarios and case studies
Past Planned Giving Course attendees have had this to say:
“As a new fundraiser at a small charity, the planned giving course helped me to become a valuable resource internally on all things planned giving. It has advanced my career and visibility in my organization with our board.”
“It is important for me to stay abreast of new trends and thinking around Planned Giving. I have been part of our planned giving team for more than 5 years and I left the course with new ideas on how to market and engage our donors through planned giving. The speakers were great and the information provided was practical for everyday donor conversations.”
Attend the SNEAK PEEK session and receive a $25 discount on your registration for the full two-day course! Additionally, we hope you’ll join us at a networking reception at a nearby location (cash bar) immediately following the first day of the course (Thursday evening, April 2) where all registrants will have the opportunity to network with course instructors and colleagues.
Planned Giving Course attendees will be eligible for discounted PGCGP membership, as well as a connection to a seasoned planned giving mentor and other benefits provided by the Council.
Continuing education credit is available for CFRE, CLE, and PACE. Space is limited, so register early to guarantee your spot.
