2025 Planned Giving Course®

The Planned Giving Council of Greater Philadelphia announces the return of the Planned Giving Course® on April 8, 2025 at The American College of Financial Services in King of Prussia, PA. 

Schedule:
8:30 - 9:00 a.m. - Registration and Breakfast
9:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. - PG Course Sessions with a Break for Lunch
4:15 - 5:30 p.m. - Networking Reception

CFRE, PACE and CLE offered

Please note that there is a maximum capacity of 36 registrants for the in-person course and if we exceed that number, there will be a waiting list. The last time the Course was offered it sold out, so be sure to register early to save your seat!

Curriculum (in-person)

  • Ethical Considerations When Working with Clients and Donors – Model Standards of Practice, Donor Bill of Rights, conflicts of interest, issues of competency
  • Best Practices – infrastructure, gift acceptance policies, fundraising campaigns
  • Taxes and Terminology – tax-incentivized gifts, charitable trusts, life income gifts
  • Tools and Rules – endowments, investment policies, resources and guidance
  • Estate Administration – the “Who, How and When” of realizing philanthropic intentions, navigating obstacles and solutions during the administration timeline

A networking reception will follow the conclusion of the final session.

Registration Fees: $275 PGCGP members / $325 non-members
